His duties include running the boat, planning the itinerary, and cleaning the deck when the boat stops at the marina. The skipper is not responsible for cooking or tidying up the boat's interior.
Yes, it is possible to hire a hostess on this boat. In Italy hostesses prepare three meals, while abroad they normally cook breakfast and lunch, but not dinner.
